Most patients experience minimal to no discomfort during acupuncture. The needles used are very thin (much thinner than injection needles) and are inserted gently. You may feel a slight sensation when the needle reaches the therapeutic point, but this is typically brief and followed by relaxation.

Acute conditions may resolve in 3-6 sessions, while chronic conditions might require 8-12 treatments or more. Dr. Jennifer will discuss a treatment plan with you after your initial assessment.
